For hundreds of years, the accessories industry and large corporations have literally destroyed the world. The demand for natural resources keeps growing and few companies care about it. At Bonoboss we know we won't save the world overnight as a small company, but I think you also know that every little bit counts.
We created Bonoboss in 2012 because sunglasses prices were too high and we wanted to make sustainable accessories, of better quality at lower prices, that would contribute to the environment.
Since then we have inspired people like you to connect more with nature and prefer sustainable business models.
If you ever have a Bonoboss product and it breaks, you don't have to throw it in the trash. We make sure that every accessory we make is recycled or recovered properly. You can bring it to our store or send it to us so we recycle it, or you can simply repair it at our repair service. Our team will be happy to support and reward you!

Our story
What started as a simple university venture in 2012 became a journey full of challenges, passion and purpose. Nothing was immediate: it took years of effort, of building stands with our own hands, of touring design and entrepreneurship fairs, of building a beach store from scratch to bring Bonoboss to the summer, and of traveling all over Chile —from San Pedro de Atacama to Puerto Montt— knocking on doors and sharing our vision.
Today, Bonoboss is no longer just an idea, but a brand that crosses borders. Our designs are found in jewelry stores, optical shops and accessory stores in Chile, and have also reached countries such as Spain, Costa Rica, Peru and New Caledonia, among others. A path that inspires us to keep growing, always convinced that design and sustainability can transform the way we look at the world.

Our goal is to move toward making 100% of our accessories from sustainable and biodegradable materials.
